Uniform

Compulsory uniform for Key Stage 3 & 4

Our uniform has been carefully chosen to be comfortable, practical, and affordable. It does not require students to wear formal shoes or blazers. However, we believe it is important for all students to come to school dressed appropriately for learning.

Uniform expectations

  • Black clothing below the waist: This can include joggers, jeans, leggings, shorts, or skirts
  • Footwear: Trainers or shoes only – no Crocs, sliders, or flip-flops
  • Tops: T-shirt with the In Toto Ed logo
  • Sweatshirt with the In Toto Ed logo

We understand that some of our students are especially sensitive to labels and fabrics, and we’ve made every effort to select uniform items that are sensitive to these needs while also being cost-effective.

Uniform pricing

(sold at cost):

  • T-shirts – £6.50
  • Sweatshirts – £13.00

All uniform is available to purchase from the school office.

16+ Dress code

At 16+, In Toto Ed doesn’t have a formal dress code. Instead, we ask students to dress appropriately for the subjects they’re studying. For instance students taking part in sports, will need to wear exercise clothing.

We ask all students to remember their dignity and to set the standard for others. In practice (applied to contemporary fashions) this means:

  • Not wearing clothes that reveal underwear or large amounts of flesh
  • No T-shirts or other items of clothing advocating or celebrating illegal acts, drugs etc
  • No items of clothing that may suggest membership of clans, gangs and so on
  • No masks to be worn
  • No earphones worn on site unless given permission by staff
  • Mobile phones should not be visible on site
