For our ASDAN module, students have been focusing on the “Using Transport” unit, where they have been developing their confidence in travelling independently and preparing for journeys to new locations.

Throughout the term, they have been practising key life skills such as planning routes, reading timetables, and navigating different forms of transport safely and responsibly.
Recently, we put these skills into practice with a trip to London Bridge, followed by a visit to Tower Bridge. During the visit, students had the exciting opportunity to walk across the famous glass floor, as well as learn about the history and engineering of this iconic landmark.
The trip was a great success, with students showing increased independence and confidence throughout the day. Everyone had a wonderful time while continuing to build valuable real-world skills.
