Camilla has been teaching for over 25 years across a wide variety of educational settings. She enjoys working with young people to develop their skills in English, and deepen their enjoyment of the subject, whilst also helping other staff to deliver engaging and interesting learning experiences. She has worked as a classroom teacher, SENCO, Pastoral leader for Key Stages 3 and 4, Advanced Skills Teacher, Head of UCAS and Head of English.   

An examiner for 15 years, Camilla has experience of marking for many different examination boards including AQA, and Cambridge iGCSE. Her favourite part of working in an alternative provision is seeing young people discover the joy of learning, and develop their English skills through inspiring texts and creative writing.  

As Deputy Head of In Toto London she enjoys being involved with the strategic element of managing an alternative provision, as well as helping young people to achieve their best through exceptional teaching.
