Benedick Ashmore-Short is the Chair of our Advisory Board, sharing his knowledge across all three In Toto Ed Schools. He is a compassionate and experienced education leader with over twenty years’ service in schools. Currently the head of Prometheus Schools and former Headmaster, Director of Education and CEO across more than thirty schools, he is known for driving improvement, strengthening teaching and learning, and leading curriculum-led financial planning.  

With a PGCE and a BA (Hons) in Economics, Benedick places children’s emotional, social and academic development at the heart of his work. A former Pearson Headteacher of the Year, he continues to mentor emerging leaders through Ambition School Leadership and other programmes.
