Charity

Our students and teachers regularly come together to raise money for causes that matter to them, supporting charities chosen through lived experience, personal connection and shared purpose.

The London Marathon

London Science Teacher Leo will be running the London Marathon this April to raise money for Home-Start Worldwide. Training hard, he's aiming to finish the 26.2 mile race in less than 3.5 hours.

Home-Start Worldwide is a small charity that provides vital support to vulnerable families with children all over the world. Find out more about Leo's journey and this great cause below.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Thursday 11th December, staff and students were invited to wear their most festive Christmas or winter-themed jumpers, with a £1 donation to Save the Children.

Sparkly, silly and cosy - we had them all; the more colourful, the better!

If you would like to help us support this wonderful cause, you can still donate online via our JustGiving page.

Christmas Charity Drive - the 999 Club

This year, we are organising a Christmas charity drive to support the local homeless community. We are partnering with the 999 Club in Deptford, a South-East London charity that runs a day centre providing warmth, safety, and support for people experiencing homelessness.

We are inviting each student to bring a gift into school in the form of a wrapped shoebox, filled with items that would be useful and comforting to someone in need this Christmas.

Suggested items include:

  • Toiletries (toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc.)
  • Thermal socks
  • Woollen hats and gloves
  • Snacks or treats (non-perishable only)
