SENCO update - May 26

This half term, we were delighted to host our third SENCO coffee morning of the year. Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to attend and contribute to such a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

We were pleased to welcome Seher, our Occupational Therapist, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation on the role of occupational therapy within the school. Seher shared valuable insights into how we support students with their sensory and physical needs, as well as practical strategies that can be used at home. A particular focus was placed on developing students’ independence skills, with helpful tips that parents and carers can incorporate into everyday routines.

The morning also provided a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to connect with one another, share experiences, and build supportive relationships within our school community. These informal discussions are an important part of the sessions, and we are always pleased to see families benefiting from this shared space.

We are very grateful for the continued support and engagement from our parent and carer community, and we look forward to welcoming you all to our next coffee morning in the new academic year.
