Sports round-up

Now that we have secured our new minibus, the opportunities for our students to get a broad and balanced curriculum experience have been really enhanced.

Our luxury nine-seater vehicle and the increase in PE hours for the students has made it possible for us to offer a greater range of experiences and activities.

The Plumstead Leisure Centre partnership:

This month has seen the start of a new partnership with Plumstead Leisure Centre. With the full use of the sports hall, our students have been actively participating in volleyball, badminton, pickleball, boccia and indoor curling. We also have full use of their gym and quiet spaces for conversations, reading and refreshments.

Water sports at Danson Park:

After the Easter break, we are excited to be taking our Year 7-9 students down to the water sports centre at Danson Park to experience a wide range of activities. From kayaking and sailing, to canoeing and climbing, both staff and students will be guaranteed a mixture of fun, challenge and potentially getting wet!

We are also putting activities in place for the Summer Term, including tennis, rounders, cricket, and our first whole-school sports day.
