Some of our students have been gaining valuable work experience at St Margaret’s Church in Lee, supporting the brilliant community initiative, Tea for Free.
Held every Monday from 10am to 12pm, Tea for Free offers a warm and welcoming space where members of the local community can drop in for a cup of tea or coffee, a biscuit, and a friendly chat. It’s a simple idea that makes a big difference – bringing people together and creating a real sense of connection.
Our students have been an important part of this, working hard to provide a great experience for everyone who attends. From taking orders to serving drinks, they’ve shown fantastic teamwork and responsibility. Just as importantly, they’ve taken the time to chat with visitors, building confidence and developing their communication skills along the way.
It’s been a rewarding experience for all involved, and we’re incredibly proud of the way our students have represented In Toto Ed while supporting their local community.
