KS3 students have been bringing science to life through some exciting practical activities.
As part of their Cell Biology learning, students prepared and observed plant cells under the microscope, allowing them to see cellular structures first-hand!

Students also explored particle theory and states of matter by making 'Oobleck', a fascinating non-Newtonian material. They investigated its unusual behaviour, observing how it can act more like a solid when force is applied, but flows like a liquid when handled gently.
These hands-on investigations have been a fantastic way for students to develop their practical skills, curiosity and understanding of key scientific concepts.
