We praise effort, curiosity, and creative problem solving, not just the correct solution. We tell stories which humanise the subject. Such as, the development of the periodic table and the story of Pythagoras and his secret cult.

Through a meticulously structured and bespoke curriculum that enables students to learn in a manner best suited to their individual needs and pace, we endeavour to foster greater confidence and engagement in their learning. The provision of small class sizes is fundamental to this approach, ensuring that each student receives continuous and tailored support throughout their educational journey.

Throughout our departments, we always seek to teach beyond the classroom; from practicals outside like egg parachutes, to using chemicals in the lab and testing for sugars in Lucozade. We aim to morph young people into curious, hands-on scientists and mathematicians who explore not only the curriculum but let their imagination go beyond.

Ultimately, the most powerful tool we have as teachers is our own genuine enthusiasm and that we have in spades. We believe instilling our passion and curiosity into the students is pivotal in delivering a great and fun education.
