    Assistant Head (London - SENCO)

Stephanie is the Assistant Head (SENCO) at In Toto London, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a true passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). With 10 years of teaching experience, she spent eight of those years working in special schools and alternative provisions, four of which were dedicated to specialising in autism. Stephanie's commitment lies in helping every student with SEN unlock their full potential and strive towards greater independence. She has worked with a diverse range of students, including those with cerebral palsy, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, and various life-limiting and genetic conditions.

With experience that spans working with children and young people from ages 3 to 25, Stephanie is equipped with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students at various stages of life. Her career also includes a focus on alternative education, having first gained experience in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) during her teaching placement in Brighton. Beyond the classroom, she contributed to supporting the homeless community while studying in Brighton and, more recently, she has strengthened her connection to diverse and vulnerable populations by continuing this work in South London.

Stephanie holds a BA Hons in Primary Education with QTS, specialising in primary maths teaching, and is currently working towards the NPQ SENCO qualification. As a SENCO, Stephanie is dedicated to ensuring that every student receives tailored support to thrive academically and personally. This involves implementing effective EHCPs, conducting comprehensive annual reviews, and providing both group and one-on-one support sessions to help her students achieve their best.
