Assistant Head (London - Teaching & Learning)
Daisy is the Assistant Head (Teaching and Learning) at In Toto London. With over 10 years of teaching experience across a variety of settings - from inner London academies to an international school in the Dominican Republic, and an independent girls’ school - Daisy brings a wealth of experience to her role. She holds a PGCE in Secondary English from Canterbury Christchurch University and a BA (Hons) in English & Philosophy from the University of Southampton. A passionate reader, Daisy enjoys sharing her favourite books with both staff and students at In Toto Ed.
In her leadership role, Daisy is dedicated to fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment and shaping an engaging, forward-thinking curriculum. She is particularly focused on driving innovative teaching and learning strategies, with a focus on PSHE to make sure that the curriculum reflects the diverse needs, interests, and aspirations of the students. Daisy’s approach is always student-focused, aiming to provide an educational experience that prepares learners for both academic and personal success.
Daisy has extensive experience in leading whole-school Teaching and Learning initiatives, from delivering CPD sessions to staff and contributing to literacy and engagement strategies, to leading a comprehensive overhaul of the PSHE curriculum. Her work has included personalising the curriculum to meet the needs of all students, from high achievers to those from underrepresented cultural groups. Daisy is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and challenged, enabling them to thrive academically and personally.
