Stuart is our Head of In Toto Peterborough, where he is also the DSL. With over 27 years in the education sector, he originally trained as a PE Teacher, and spent the early part of his career teaching the subject and quickly progressed to first Head of PE, and then Director of Sport. The majority of his career has been spent in large state secondary schools in various roles of senior leadership, including successfully improving one school’s OFSTED rating from “inadequate”, to “good”. 

When Stuart left state education to become the Head of an independent school, he realised his passion for working with SEND students, helping them to achieve their personal best and become more well-rounded individuals. 

As Head of In Toto Peterborough, Stuart looks forward to applying his wealth of experience to enriching the lives of our young people; always keeping the individual students in mind to provide a truly tailored educational offering.
