Stakeholder feedback

Every day is different, and what we are able to offer each student, and the progress they make, both socially and educationally, is remarkable. During my three years I have seen an amazing growth in student and staff numbers, across all three schools, but what has remained is the uniqueness which makes In toto ed successful. We are very lucky to have three amazing sites, each very different, but all developed with the students best interests at heart. (Member of SLT central team)

I love the small classes and the chance to really teach the students. I enjoy the opportunity to get to know the students and support them to fulfil their best outcomes. I would never go back to mainstream education: In Toto Ed for life! (SLT London)

It is rewarding; I feel that I empower my students. Art is therapeutic for many of them and they often discover a missing link or feeling of respite from their previous difficulties within their artwork with me. I believe I'm good at what I do and that it's a meaningful role.  I find Simon and Emily's vision and the ethos of the school inspiring and like that I am part of that. I like being part of a smaller team rather than in a huge school. I feel my voice is heard, my experience is valuable and that I'm respected. (Teacher-London)

One of the things I like most about working at In Toto Ed is the strong sense of community — it truly feels like a close-knit team. Everyone is always willing to support one another, especially during challenging times, and there's a real spirit of unity. What makes it even more special is seeing the genuine difference we make in the lives of our young people. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that’s creating meaningful change in the world around us. (Central team)

Working at our alternative provision school is very rewarding. No two days are the same, and I really enjoy the variety that comes with supporting such a diverse range of students. The environment encourages creativity in teaching, and it's deeply fulfilling to know that the work we do has a real and lasting impact on young people's lives.  The school's commitment to recognising talent and promoting from within has been inspiring, and it's motivating to be part of a culture that invests in its staff.  The sense of community, supportive colleagues, and a healthy work-life balance all contribute to making this a place I genuinely enjoy coming to every day. (SLT London)

The team spirit and the common goal to give our students a sense of belonging, purpose and achievement through delivering a tailored education, makes In Toto Ed a rewarding and special place to work. (Teacher-London)

Everyone works really well together. We are very well supported by everyone around and everyone is willing to help each other. (Support staff London)
