Our mission is simple: to ensure every young person can access learning in a way that suits their individual needs. We provide tailored, thoughtful support for students across the full spectrum of SEND, creating an environment where every learner can thrive.

Led by our experienced SENCO, the department works in close partnership with teachers, parents/carers, and a wide range of external specialists, including Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists. This collaborative approach ensures that support is not only comprehensive but also highly personalised.

Whether a student requires minor classroom adaptations or has an Education Health & Care Plan (EHCP) with more substantial needs, we design strategies, programmes, and pathways that reflect their strengths, challenges, and long-term aspirations. Our goal is to empower students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Support goes beyond the classroom. We help students develop skills in emotional regulation, social communication, behaviour strategies, and managing transitions. Life-skills programmes, covering budgeting, travel training, cooking, careers preparation, and fitness, equip young people with the confidence and independence they need for adulthood.
