All students at In Toto Ed have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The admissions process begins when we receive a formal consultation from the young person’s SEN caseworker.
We then meet with the young person and their parent or carer to understand their needs, aspirations and the support they require. We also review their EHCP and other relevant information to decide whether In Toto Ed can meet their needs.
If we can offer a suitable placement, we submit the proposed costs to the local authority for approval. Once funding is agreed, we begin the enrolment process and work with the family and local authority to support a smooth transition.
We do not hold general Open Days. Instead, prospective students and their parents or carers are invited for a private tour and a meeting with the Head. This gives families the opportunity to ask questions, see the provision and learn more about our ethos, curriculum and support.
