    Yvonne Maphosa

    Art Therapist

    Yvonne provides therapeutic support that helps children, young people and adults explore emotions, express themselves creatively and improve wellbeing in a safe, supportive environment. With an MA in Art Psychotherapy and experience across education, community settings and NHS learning disability services, she supports individuals facing emotional, behavioural, social and mental health challenges through creativity and therapeutic practice.

    As part of our therapeutic provision, In Toto Peterborough is working with Whole Child Therapy – providing child-centred therapeutic and educational support for children and young people aged 0–25, including those with SEND or emerging needs.

    We have developed a strong relationship with Whole Child Therapy over a number of years. Through our partnership with them, we are able to offer a range of therapeutic provision including:

    • Occupational Therapy (OT) to support sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, attention, and daily functional skills
    • Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) to develop communication, language and social interaction
    • Emotional and Behavioural Support, including regulation strategies and therapeutic interventions
    • Specialist Teaching and Targeted Interventions to support learning, engagement and inclusion

    Whole Child Therapy work closely with In Toto Peterborough to provide practical, evidence-based support that helps students access learning, build independence and reach their potential.
