Our partnership with New Ark

New Ark Play & City Farm is a wonderful, caring, exciting, nurturing, inspiring, therapeutic, adventurous place where everyone is welcome and everyone is valued. New Ark was created by members of our community for the benefit of our community. It began as a play scheme in 1974 and has grown and developed over the past ten decades to provide a wide range of services and opportunities (and most of all fun!) for children, families, young people and adults of all ages and abilities.

New Ark are an independent charity – their ethos is to provide a safe, caring, adventurous environment for everyone developing skills for life.  Facilities include a traditional Adventure Playground, an Eco Centre and a City Farm.

New Ark provide a variety of opportunities for volunteering and social integration, corporate social responsibility projects, enrichment activities for Duke of Edinburgh, Prince’s Trust and National Citizen Service, and animal care and childcare work experience placements.
