At In Toto Ed Peterborough, we believe creativity is far more than an activity, it is a powerful tool for learning, confidence, and self-expression.
Our Creative Arts curriculum is designed to inspire, challenge, and support every student, regardless of ability or experience. Through a wide range of opportunities, we encourage learners to explore their potential and develop skills that will serve them for life.
Our Art Department offers a vibrant and inclusive environment where students can experiment with diverse mediums such as fine art, graphic design, textiles, digital design and printing, and even 3D artwork. We foster independence and originality, helping students develop their own personal style and confidence. For those seeking formal recognition of their skills, we provide pathways to qualifications including NCFE Levels 1–3 in Art, Design and Creative Craft, GCSE Art & Design, and UAL Level 3 and Extended Diplomas in Creative Practice. Whether a student dreams of a career in the creative industries or simply wants a space to express themselves, our Art Department provides the tools and guidance to make that vision a reality.
Music at In Toto Ed is all about exploration and enjoyment. Our dedicated music room is equipped with a variety of instruments and professional-grade technology, from guitars and hand drums to industry-standard recording software. Students have the chance to try new instruments, record covers of their favourite songs, experiment with sound design for film and gaming, or simply sing for confidence and fun. For those who wish to take their passion further, we offer adaptable qualifications such as RSL and NCFE Levels 1–3 in Music Technology and Creative Media, tailored to individual interests and styles.
Creativity extends beyond the arts into practical life skills in our Food Technology department. Here, students learn how to plan and prepare healthy meals, practice safe food handling and cooking techniques, and understand the principles of nutrition and wellbeing. Lessons are hands-on and supportive, building independence and confidence while working towards NCFE Level 1 and 2 qualifications. These skills not only prepare students for success in education but also equip them for everyday life.
At In Toto Ed Peterborough, creativity isn’t just a subject, it’s a pathway to confidence, achievement, and future opportunities. Whether through art, music, or food technology, we help students discover their talents and develop skills that last a lifetime.
