  • Construction update - March 2026

It’s been a fantastic term in Construction, with students showcasing their practical skills, achieving key milestones, and taking exciting steps towards future careers in the industry.

Regan has excelled in all aspects of his qualification, and has shown strong leadership capabilities.
He has also applied for an apprenticeship with Barratt Redrow Homes, for which he used his working area in our workshop for his video interview.

“It was so good to see what Regan has achieved during my visit yesterday - thank you so much for supporting him to achieve what he has. In Toto Ed have really supported Regan in changing his life for the better!”

George now has enough credits to complete his Level 1 Diploma in Construction Skills. He has been accepted for Level 1 Site Carpentry at Peterborough Regional College next year. We are using the remainder of his time with us practising for his upcoming college adventure.

These are two of his recent bricklaying assessments.

George has excelled in both the workshop and the classroom.

Harry showing off his half brick corner assessment, which he passed with flying colours. Harry has enjoyed every single minute of his time and cups of tea in the workshop and is very close to completing his qualification.

Edward has completed all of his assessments for his qualification and is now setting up an assessment area for a water tank, and plumbed in radiators. He designed this shelf himself and only required guidance from instructors to make and hang it.
