    • Meet the Cambridge STEM Department

    Welcome to S.T.E.M. The Cambridge S.T.E.M. department is made up of Rachel, Tom and Julie. 

    Mathematics

    The post-16 students are working toward either functional skill (NCFE) or GCSE Mathematics (AQA curriculum), dependent on the most appropriate pathway for them. These students will be taking a mock examination to prepare and allow them to experience a real exam in a safe and stress-free environment. We have also prepared two students to take examinations this November.

    The GCSE Year 11 class are preparing to sit their mock examinations shortly. The Year 10 GCSE classes are currently learning and practising algebra.

    Science 

    The students have been learning the homeostasis and response topic, for their GCSE biology. These students will be completing a mock Biology examination very soon.

    We have been using specialist equipment to help with their revision, including the microscope.
