At In Toto Cambridge, our therapeutic approach is central to the way we support young people to thrive. Alongside carefully tailored education pathways, we provide integrated therapeutic input to help students feel safe, supported and ready to learn. Led by our SEN team, therapeutic support includes Art Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy delivered through trusted external partners. We also offer specialist and targeted interventions through Therapeutic Mentoring and individualised support, ensuring each student receives the right provision at the right time to support both their emotional wellbeing and educational progress.

Acting SENCO
Mark is the Acting SENCO at In Toto Peterborough, leading the coordination and development of SEND and therapeutic support across the provision. With nearly 30 years’ experience in education, including senior leadership roles within specialist autism and behaviour settings, Mark brings a strong understanding of inclusive, trauma-informed practice. He works closely with staff and external professionals to ensure EHCPs are effectively implemented, therapeutic strategies are embedded into daily practice, and students receive the support they need to feel safe, engaged and able to succeed. Passionate about positive outcomes, Mark is committed to creating an environment where young people can grow in confidence and independence.

Art Therapist
Leanne provides therapeutic support that helps young people explore emotions, process experiences and develop emotional regulation in a safe, creative space. With a Master’s in Art Psychotherapy, a BA (Hons) in Art and Design, and over 10 years’ experience in mainstream and specialist schools, children’s homes and alternative provision, she supports young people with ASD, ADHD, trauma and care experience to build trust, resilience and confidence in and beyond the classroom.

Occupational Therapy Partner
We work in partnership with Whole Child Therapy to provide Occupational Therapy and SaLT that supports students’ sensory regulation, motor skills and independence. Using a holistic, child-centred approach, their therapists assess individual needs and deliver targeted interventions that help students engage more confidently in learning, develop everyday functional skills and feel more regulated within the school environment.
