  • Beauty highlights from this term

Cambridge students have been diving into a wide range of beauty skills as part of their curriculum.

One of the standout sessions was our DIY face mask lesson, where students discovered how to make effective, low-cost masks using simple household ingredients. Alongside the practical skills of chopping, mixing, and measuring, they also explored the history and cultural significance of face masks – from ancient Egypt to modern uses around the world.

Students then moved on to learning how to set up and prepare for a professional facial. This included organising products, preparing the beauty couch, and completing the all-important client consultation form.

Across the course, our beauty students have also refined their daytime and evening make-up skills and learnt how to correct common make-up mistakes.

It’s been a busy, engaging, and confidence-building term, and we’re incredibly proud of the progress our students are making. A highlight was watching student Kaia deliver an excellent facial treatment as part of her assessment.
