Advisor
Sarah Pittam is a member of the In Toto Ed Advisory Board. She is a governance, project delivery and senior appointments specialist with extensive experience across both the state-funded and independent education sectors, central government, local authorities and the private sector. She has been a director of growing and established multi academy trusts and chaired a number of Audit and Risk Committees. Sarah has also set up schools from scratch under the Free Schools Programme and led the transfer of a federation of two underperforming London schools into a large multi academy trust. She holds two sovereign public appointments: as a Civil Service Commissioner and a Judicial Appointments Commissioner.
Sarah holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, where she was awarded the Louis Franck Scholarship, and a BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge, studying Economics and History. She also served as a councillor and Cabinet Member for Children's Services in a London borough, bringing valuable experience in education policy, governance and strategic leadership to her role with In Toto Ed.
