There’s been a positive update to our therapy provision, as our Art Therapist, Leanne, has now moved into a new dedicated therapy room on the first floor of the Barn.
The new space offers a calm and welcoming environment for Art Psychotherapy sessions, and it’s been great to see students already settling in. Four students have begun using the room, with the transition proving smooth and enjoyable, helping them feel comfortable and relaxed in their sessions.
Art Psychotherapy gives students a valuable outlet to express themselves creatively while supporting their emotional wellbeing. This new space enhances that experience, providing a peaceful setting where students can feel safe and focused.
After the Easter break, Leanne is looking forward to welcoming more students who have been identified for sessions and have been patiently waiting for their slots. Thank you to everyone who has supported students in attending during the interim period – we look forward to continuing this work next term.
