Meet the Cambridge Art & Design Department

At In Toto Ed, creativity isn’t just a subject – it’s a mindset. Our Art & Design Department is where imagination meets opportunity, giving every learner the chance to explore, experiment, and express themselves. Whether you dream of becoming a designer, illustrator, maker, or creative entrepreneur, we’re here to help you shape that vision into reality.

A dynamic curriculum for every learner

From KS3 through to GCSE and Level 3, we offer a wide range of pathways that empower students to grow their skills and confidence.

Our qualifications include:

  • UAL Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication (Level 3)
  • NCFE Level 2 and 3 Creative Crafts

These courses give learners not only technical ability but also the creative independence to move on to further study, or even start building their own creative business plans.

Learning beyond the classroom

Art doesn’t live in a textbook – it lives in the world around us. That’s why our students take part in cultural trips, gallery visits, and artist-led workshops, connecting classroom learning with real-world creative practice. Meeting working artists and seeing their processes up close helps students understand how ideas become reality – and sparks inspiration for their own work.

Celebrating every success

Success in art looks different for everyone. Some students master a new technique, others find their unique style or build the confidence to share their work publicly. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, because each milestone is a step forward on a personal creative journey.
