Beauty update - October 2026

Our Beauty students have made a great start to the term, balancing theory lessons with plenty of practical learning. From creative nail art and facial treatments to studying anatomy and setting up their own client reception area, they’re developing the skills and professionalism needed for the beauty industry.

So far this term, the KS4 & KS5 students have been working incredibly hard. Not only have they been working hard on their theory work in class – completing subjects such as working in beauty-related industries – but also in their practical lessons. Here, students were very keen to start with nail art, and I could see why! I have some very talented students on my hands.

Post-16 students started off the term learning facials, anatomy, and physiology of the face including skeletal structure, lymphatic drainage and blood flow and circulation.

The students have also set up a new reception area themselves with a booking system and consultation forms for clients - very professional!
