    16+

We believe in preparing every young person for a fulfilling and independent future.

Our 16+ provision is designed to support students aged 16-25 through personalised learning pathways, expert pastoral care, and a nurturing environment that fosters confidence, resilience, and ambition. Whether a student is aiming for university, employment, or independent living, we provide the structure and support to help them take the next step.

    A Personalised Approach to Learning

We offer three flexible pathways to suit different aspirations and learning styles:

    • Academic Pathway – A-levels and Level 3 qualifications, with expert guidance on university and apprenticeship routes.
    • Vocational Pathway – Industry-relevant courses paired with employability training and Functional Skills or GCSE resits.
    • Independent Living Pathway – Focused on practical life skills, independence, and community confidence, supported by qualifications in cookery, employability, and ASDAN.

Each student follows a curriculum that is individually tailored to their needs, supported by a dedicated team of subject teachers, support staff and our SENCO.

    Beyond the Classroom

From enrichment activities and onsite fitness to arts, IT, and creative media, our students are encouraged to develop holistically. We promote personal development alongside academic success, so every learner can thrive—socially, emotionally, and professionally.

Our pastoral care system ensures that each student is known, understood, and supported. Every student is assigned a key worker, and families are actively involved in planning for the future.

    Planning for What Comes Next

We work with students and families to prepare them for life beyond education. Careers guidance, work experience placements, university application support, and job readiness are all built into our programme.
