    Meet our Support Team

    Our department includes a SENCo, Art Therapist, Lead Student Support Mentor, and a team of teaching assistants – all committed to meeting individual needs.

    Amy Hammond – SENCo

    Amy has worked in education since 2001 after completing a degree in Maths with Technology (QTS) at Lincoln Bishop University. She achieved the NASENCo Award in 2013, gained a Master’s in Education in 2017, and is also a qualified Therapeutic Play Practitioner. Amy enjoys a variety of crafts, including sewing and upcycling furniture.

    Leanne Donelly – Art Therapist

    Leanne brings over 12 years of experience supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. She loves exploring with paint, gardening, and DIY projects—especially building sheds! Leanne works with students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

    Dolly Bonner – Lead Student Support Mentor

    Dolly holds a degree in Music and English alongside a teaching qualification. She plays music and enjoys wild swimming in her spare time. Dolly loves travelling, and has even previously lived in Australia. She has 25+ years' experience in education across different roles, including SEN, SEMH, ADHD, AUD and, in particular, Behaviour Management. 

    Serena Parsons – Teaching Assistant & Beauty Tutor

    Serena has a dual role at In Toto Ed, providing classroom support and as a Beauty teacher. Outside of school, she enjoys family time and beachcombing for sea glass and driftwood.

    Freya Haigh-Smith – Teaching Assistant

    Freya recently completed a degree in Fine Art and has a passion for experimental arts. She is also an animal lover, forager, and vegetarian.

    Our Approach

    As a team, we focus on creating a calm, predictable environment where learners feel safe and valued. We offer a range of tailored interventions, primarily supporting students’ social, emotional and mental health needs to enable successful learning and achievement.
