This website is designed to be fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.
In Toto Ed currently operates as an Alternative Provision, but is applying to become an Independent Special School, and recognises its duty under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 to meet accessibility standards for all users, including those with disabilities.
While we strive for full compliance, some elements may not yet meet all accessibility standards:
Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible
Embedded Google Maps may not be accessible to screen readers
Some bespoke-styled forms may have limited accessibility
Minor inconsistencies in alt text, captions, or table headings may occur
We are actively working to identify and correct these where possible. If notified of any barriers, we will address them promptly.
We are committed to continuous improvement, including:
Enhancing screen reader compatibility in collaboration with our website provider
Conducting internal accessibility reviews and user testing
Incorporating user feedback to drive upgrades
Staying current with updates to WCAG standards and best practice
Some third-party services or embedded elements (e.g. video players, maps, external forms) may not fully meet WCAG standards. We are reviewing these and working with providers where possible to improve compliance.
